Studies Overview Statistics table

The interactive results table provides a detailed overview of the statistical and technical output generated for each analysis app. Each row represents an individual sample or file entry and includes key identifiers such as Study, Sample ID, and SeqFile / FASTQ file name, together with app-specific quality metrics and numerical results. Each column can be filtered based on its data type. Text columns allow users to search for specific identifiers or file names, while numeric columns allow threshold-based filtering. This makes it easier to focus on specific samples, detect outliers, or inspect entries that meet defined quality-control criteria.

This table allows users to inspect, compare, filter, and export results in a structured and user-friendly format. Users can interact with the table in the following ways:

  • Sort rows: Click on a column header to sort the table based on that column. The sorting order can be changed between ascending and descending by clicking the arrow next to the column header. Studies Overview Statistics table sort rows
  • Resize columns: Column widths can be adjusted by placing the cursor on a column divider, then left-clicking and dragging the divider to the desired width.
  • Scroll through the table: When many columns are present, users can scroll horizontally to view additional parameters.

At the top-right corner of the table, the following options are available: Studies Overview Statistics table additional options

  1. Row count: Displays the total number of rows currently present in the table.
  2. Download CSV: Allows users to download the displayed table as a .csv file. This dropdown menu also provides additional options, including:
    • Download XLSX to export the table as an Excel file.
    • Copy filtered rows to copy only the rows currently visible after filtering. Studies Overview Statistics table download options
  3. Columns: Opens a column management dropdown which provides the following options:
    • View all available columns.
    • Show or hide individual columns using the eye icon.
    • Rearrange columns using the drag handle on the left side of each column name.
    • Search for specific columns using the Filter columns search field. Studies Overview Statistics table columns options
  4. Help icon ?: Provides guidance on how to filter numerical columns. Numeric filters support comparison operators such as >, <, >=, <=, =. These operators can be combined using logical conditions such as AND and OR. For example, a user can filter numerical values to display only rows where a quality metric is above or below a selected threshold.
